Water is one of classic and most commonly known material for firefighting system, the water mist system is for the use of same (water) at high pressure through specially design nozzles to have water droplets, fog or in steam form. The droplet size for water mist systems can vary between 1000 microns and 10 microns. Water mist systems are a versatile and highly efficient fire protection solution; environment friendly, quick firefighting, less damages and low consumption of water and small pipe size as compare to fire sprinkler system. The water mist system can use for Class A & B fire.
The water mist system has different installation mode; open nozzle, close nozzle, aquamist sonic (water cum nitrogen) and fog. The system is consisting of these components: pumps, valves, discharge nozzles, pipes and fittings
