A capacitor bank is a group of capacitors to form a capacitor bank that store electrical energy which used to correct a power factor lag or phase shift in an AC power supply. By using the capacitor bank, the power factory can be maintained near to unity and other words reducing phase difference between the voltage and current. There are three types of capacitor banks which are discussed below.
